During this shut down the #CFTC has been informing us that there will not be another release of data until things are back up and running, officially!
Nonetheless, leading up to the shut down the #cftc data analysis was very clear on what the institutions were positioning themselves for. in terms of #gold, I detailed what the analysis was suggesting in a previous journal entry and the initial stages are playing out as expected. Last year was a very important year for the institutions. They focused on taking profits from the previous years holdings and what seems to be setting up for 2019 is a continuation of the agenda for price. Many opportunities will spring from this continuation so make sure you are prepared!
