How’s it going fellow traders!? It’s been a busy weekend for me. I had some friends over for lunch yesterday. They stayed for some pool and drinks and we enjoyed each others company. But before they arrived at my home I was thinking the incredible success we reached this year with the portfolio and how calm I felt while taking the trades I did. Now I am thinking about scaling up my trades, reaching for a bigger return. Remember I never risked more than 1% and many time I risked even less and essentially I have very little drawdown on the account and my upside is sitting around 35% return for the year so far. What if I risked more, say 2-5% per trade? My winning percentage is around 85-90% which means I could take a few losses here and there and still I’d come out way ahead. So, over the next couple months I am going to be working out a strategy on how I will go forward with this but needless to say I am very excited about the prospects.
I’m also going to be working on something behind the scenes as well. I recently was inspired to try something new. Something that could really explode my returns by putting on massive risk but starting off with a small amount. Should the amount blow, I would start again from the start and grow a small account into a large size. I’ve ideas on how I would go about this so I will be working on the details like what type of trades I’d take, what timeframes, what assets etc. When I have more information, I’ll share it with you.
For now, it’s business as usual. Tomorrow, we have our Stock Market Mastery class, which will be the second session, and we’ll be reviewing the homework I gave out and see how everyone did with their analysis. We’ll continue with looking for another stock chart to do analysis on and then in our new level two class (dates to follow) we’ll be doing the trends and key/magic zones on the charts. These will eventually lead to new trade ideas and potential trades. Many big winners in our portfolio came from level 3 sessions.
That’s it for now everyone, hope you had a very good weekend. Hope you had a chance to complete your homework because if you don’t do it, you’re only cheating yourself, not me.
